Bonarda

Bonarda DOC is derived from fermentation of the grape variety Croatina native of the beyond Po Pavia and cultivated since the Middle Ages. The first official descriptions date from the second half of the 800, from 1875 onwards it is tradition among the hills of Piacenza use the synonym "Bonarda". It has an intense ruby red color and taste variable, but usually soft: it is perfect to accompany any dish during a meal, provided it is not fish.
